Following approval any required changes to this Policy shall be raised and notified to the Steering Committee.

1. Anti-Slavery Policy Statement

The OBC RDSC has a zero-tolerance approach to slavery and is committed to preventing acts of slavery and human trafficking from occurring within both its business and supply chain, and imposes those same standards on its contractors, suppliers and other business partners.

2. Human Rights Policy Statement

The OBC RDSC Human Rights Policy applies to all Committee Members, Cluster Members, advisors and subcontractors. We also expect our suppliers to respect and adhere to this policy.

We seek to act in accordance with internationally-recognised human rights and standards, including the International Bill of Human Rights, the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work and the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights; making them integral to the way we operate. We’re working to guard against being complicit in human rights violations and to uphold the human rights of our people and any other individuals that we’re in contact with, either directly or indirectly.

3. Due diligence processes

Where a human rights violation is identified, we’ll work with all parties involved to seek access to remedy, compensation and justice for the victim. We’ll also investigate the root cause so that we can take appropriate steps to prevent such a violation reoccurring.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes the company’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 31 March 2025.
